The term vermicomposting really stood out to us in our previous post. Vermicomposting is the method of using worms to turn old waste into an organic high quality compost. It is known for being the best way to get rid of kitchen waste. The worms will eat at the waste until it no longer looks like its original form and becomes a crumbly soil. The 100% organic strategy used for gardens is something anyone can do, not just New Yorkers. It may sound very tough to do but became very simple through the help of Gothamist.
