Sadie and Safiyah at the world premiere in Berlin

We’ve just returned from a smashing premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival in the Culinary Cinema Program. The film screened before an audience of children, teachers and families from the John F. Kennedy School, an American school in Berlin. The audience was wonderfully enthusiastic, and the children had many questions for Sadie and Safiyah. After the screening, everyone enjoyed a seasonal vegetarian meal prepared by some of the kids who worked with German Chef Alf Wagenzink.

What’s On Your Plate? had a fabulous debut! And Sadie and Safiyah have some new German pen pals.
