The Asheville Food & Environmental Film Festival (AFEFF) is a platform for educating and inspiring people to action through film and community participation. The films of the AFEFF are primarily pointing at solutions and how our simple daily choices affect our health and the environment. Some Producers and Directors of the AFEFF film selection will attend for Q&A following the screenings while other Q&As will be led by community or regional organizations. The opening night and kickoff will benefit this year's community project: a collaborative effort to implement service learning programs for UNCA students to have more hands-on farm and community garden experience.
