The Longbranch Coffeehouse is more than just a coffeehouse or a restaurant. We’re values-driven. We make virtually everything on the menu by hand, and whenever possible, use organic and locally grown products that support local farmers and the practices of sustainable agriculture. We use organic flour in our homemade bread and serve organic brown rice and garbanzo beans as well. Family Friendly Farm in Cape Girardeau, MO supplies us with free-range eggs. Our daily specials incorporate seasonal, organic vegetables from Dayempur Farm in Anna, IL where our food scraps and coffee grounds are sent to be composted to enrich the soil.
