This semester, the School of Nursing is presenting a series of films related to diversity to promote social justice within healthcare and to facilitate intercultural dialogues. These are strongly recommended to develop your sense of social justice. Food for Thought Two-part Film Series In our two-part film series, the School of Nursing will explore the world of food access, and what it means to lack good access to food. By looking at hunger in America, we can discuss and learn how food access relates to health and healthcare. February 25th at 5pm Cooper Hall Auditorium (Right on the 80 Bus line) A Place at the Table: A documentary that investigates incidents of hunger experienced by millions of Americans, and proposed solutions. April 20th at 5pm What’s on Your Plate?: This film follows two 11-year-old multi-racial children as they explore their place in the food chain. Light refreshments will be served. No RSVP needed.
